SALIVIT^® 9MESI is a food supplement based on DHA, vitamins and minerals. The intake of DHA by the mother contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the fetus and of breastfed infants.  In pregnancy and breastfeeding, the beneficial effect can be obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA, in addition to the suggested dose of Omega-3 fatty acids in adults, corresponding to 250 mg of DHA and EPA. Iron, Vit. B12 and Vit. B6 contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells, and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Folate is useful to promote the growth of the maternal tissues in pregnancy.
